VISION

Moncton Connect (formerly CyberSocial) exists to encourage the understanding of business growth in an ever changing world of technology, promote the exchange of knowledge, and to provide a means of live interaction and networking.   We encourage various forms of  partnership, mentorship and business development.

Connect attendees are entrepreneurs, leaders and representatives from small business to large corporations, government representatives, research and educational institutions and anyone wanting to learn from, do business with, or interact with those at a facilitated event.

OUR COMMITTEE

Christine Lund is a young entrepreneur, providing professional logo design and visual identity to small and medium size businesses. Also an emerging photographer, she has a passion for many artistic mediums and the growth of local arts and culture. She is fascinated with business development and is actively working with other local leaders to promote and create environments to encourage growth and communication.

Trisha Coady was invited to work as Program Manager with the G. Wallace F. McCain Institute for Business Leadership. Having co-founded and quarterbacked a unique and internationally recognized e-learning company, she understands what it takes to build a company with acquisition intentions out of New Brunswick. Trisha brings with her a very practical knowledge base of entrepreneurism, with hands-on experience in product development & innovation, brand recognition, funding challenges, international sales strategies, and the establishment of a multi-sector channel of distribution.

Trisha has been recognized on the Branham300 list in the category of ‘Top 25 Up and Comers’ across the Nation for its accelerated user awareness and adoption in 2007-8 and IDC’s Top 10 to Watch in Canada. Dale Ritchie is an entrepreneur with experience with oil, coffee, education and games. After graduating with a BComm in Marketing, and attending Graduate School, majoring in Finance and Computer Science, at Saint Mary's University, he worked in the oil industry. He identified the possibility of oil companies and quick service restaurants working together and negotiated the first oil company and Tim Hortons real estate deal. He later joined Tim Hortons as a franchisee and owned and operated six locations in Saint John, NB. He sold the stores and purchased McKenzie College, and developed it into a highly respected and well recognized Art and Design school, in Moncton. He started Pitch Mobile in 2006 and is growing the game development studio with some of the brightest and best minds in the area.
