For more than 40 years, David has been building client-centric, high performance communications organizations. He joined the Couleur/ Colour Co-création team in
March 2007.
Following seven years in advertising management with Nikon in Canada, along with his wife Lorrie, David co-founded Hawk Communications in the mid-70s and built it to become one of the region’s leading marketing and communications firms. Included in this was a pioneering division – Atlantic Canada’s first dedicated and highly successful digital marketing communications unit.
Subsequent to the sale of Hawk in 2001, he was active both professionally and as a volunteer with many different organizations. Currently, he is a member of the boards of directors of both Imvescor (Pizza Delight, Mikes, Baton Rouge, Scores) and EPC (Polycello). His community work includes membership on the boards of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra, where he is a leader in the introduction of the world-renowned El Sistema program to Canada. As well, he has just completed a term as a board member with the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute. He is also active with The Muriel McQueen Fergusson Foundation and with The Learning Partnership, where he chairs the 2009 Tribute Luncheon.
David leads all of Colour Co-création’s business within New Brunswick, including clients such as SAP, Facilicorp and the Government of New Brunswick. His long history of achievement makes him a much sought-after consultant on all matters related to communication.
